As we approach our senior years, chances are that our lives have been touched in a meaningful way by someone in our society: a neighbor, a leader or an organization in your community. We recognize that the elderly of today played a valuable role in shaping our society and helping to build communities we now enjoy throughout metropolitan Atlanta and Georgia. Seniors continue to help us understand our history, appreciate the stories that form our society and learn from the past. Their experiences have in turn shaped ours.
As we age, caring for ourselves becomes more difficult. We hope to have people in our lives who will help us age with dignity, care and choice. When it comes to serving seniors and providing them with this dignity, care and choice, there’s no better place to invest than AID FOR SENIORS. Our mission is to serve this special population with quality and compassion.
QUALITY AND COMPASSION
In an ideal world, every senior would have relatives or neighbors who help prepare meals, clean house, make small repairs and visit regularly. This kind of experience is imperative to quality of life – but too many members of our senior population have no such support system,
That’s where AID FOR SENIORS will make a difference. Our Board of Directors are committed to work alongside established Senior Centers with the aim of assisting them to meet their budgets to provide their members with the ability to attain socialization, making new friends and learning new skills such as arts and crafts, learning board and card games, and provide gifts for Bingo games.
We can use our nursing and community health backgrounds in guiding Centers staff to reach out to the appropriate State agencies for their members.
We are qualified and determined to deliver unpatrolled services to clients, many of whom live below the poverty level and have no real means of support. Every day, in every service we provide, quality and compassion are our hallmarks.
When it comes to aiding our seniors, we know that quality care is essential, so we employ quality assurance standards and measures, surveying our clients regularly. Our mission is to exceed our goals.
